European Program

The European Program aims for increased public understanding of the EU institutions and pan-European civic platforms in order to bring these institutions and cooperation networks closer to Estonians. Communication and awareness raising are the only ways to have a say in the decision making and enlargement processes of the European Union.

The central focus of New Neighbors Subprogram is democracy and position of civil society in the new EU neighbor countries. The objective is to help Estonian civil society organizations find effective ways of sharing experiences of transition with countries whose situation today is reminiscent of the early years of Estonian re-independence.
To achieve these objectives we organize roundtables, seminars, conferences, and trainings, conduct research activities and carry out analyses and publish various materials.
