Call for Nominations for CIVICUS Board

The application deadline for CIVICUS Board nominations is approaching. With roughly only week left, we encourage you to consider participating in the CIVICUS Board Elections process by nominating someone from your organisation or network, or by even considering running in the elections yourself. Please keep in mind the following:

The nomination application deadline is on 1 November 2006 (by midnight GMT time). A nomination will be certified once CIVICUS receives the following completed documents:

1. A completed Nomination Form for each nominee (see attached form).

2. A letter of intent from each nominee (other than self-nominees). See Nomination Form Section B item about what the letter of intent should include. Please note that a nominee does not have to be a member of CIVICUS when nominated, but she/he or his/her organisation must join no later than 31 December 2006.
